Less is More

Using many different products on one home can hurt the overall look. Simplicity often achieves a more historic look. In most cases, a single type of tile, moulding and color is sufficient. If a water table or quoining is included, however, two types of tile may work.

Grand historic stone buildings were built using stone from a single quarry, so keeping the color consistent throughout the building will emulate the look, which is usually the goal.
